Decadent and delicious, this chocolate lava cake is a treat and so easy to make. 12 minutes in the oven and even less time to prepare; it’s a grain free, nut free, high antioxidant event.
4 Tbs Coconut Oil
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Tbs Coconut Sugar
2 Tbs Cacao
1 tsp Coconut Flour
Grease 4 ramekins and preheat your oven to 190C.
Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl over boiling water for approx. 3-5 minutes, stir and let it cool.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs, vanilla, salt and sugar until it’s light and fluffy.
Pour egg mixture over the chocolate, then sift cacao and coconut flour on top.
Gently fold all ingredients together before pouring into ramekins, and place them on a baking tray into the oven for approx. 11-12 minutes.
Serve immediately with fresh berries and homemade ice cream.
